Facial Steamer

One of my hobby is taking care of my skin.

If I have 20mins in the morning to work on my face,
I will spend 10mins for the face care,  10mins
for makeup.

One of  very very simple yet special things to have
for my face care is, facial steamer.

Since I came to L.A. in 2001, I have used 4 different steamer so far.
Avarage, it takes  2-3 years for a good  steamer to break down
when I use it everyday.

These are the kind I always love, and look for.
You can change the angle of the tube/mouth  where the steamer coming out.

you can find this on e-bay.
It is about $50-60.
Depends on the saler.

Easy for people who love to
do facial massage on the same time.

This is from Panasonic.
Panasonic Nano Care
EH-SA42-P Facial Skin Care Steamer
About $200.
It makes nano ( super small particles of steam)
steam, and it really goes into your skin.

I got my Panasonic nano  steamer in Japan.  It has 4 different settings.
I am very happy about it.  My husband also loves it.
When I have sore throat during the winter, I use my steamer for my throat.
Well, I just keep my mouth opened while I am having facial steamer.  :)

Now, these 2 are the ones I don't recommend.

I got the same one 4years ago from e-bay.
It took for a while until steam came out,
and it was not strong steam.  Even though
I set the control dial on strong setting.
I didn't see the meaning of the control dial on this.

Then it was broken in 2 and half weeks.
Maybe, I didn't have a luck on e-bay that time.

This traditional, head stick in type steamer.
This is not good for doing facial massage .
But this is the type we can find at most of
neighbor drug store.  And more reasonable price.

Using a steamer daily base really protect the skin from California weather.
If you are wondering what to buy to start your "at home facial", I really recommend to get
a happy steamer, and always to use distilled water for steamer or it will be clogged and broken down much earlier.
